The We All Live in the Forbidden City book series made its debut in the libraries of the primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong in 2010. In the following year, the Education Programme proactively reached out to local schools. To date, some 3,700 workshops have been organized for over 22,000 students from the participating schools. A working team has even been formed to initiate more thematic activities and workshops under the education programme, and to actively expand its educational impact by using contemporary language to promote traditional Chinese culture to children, youngsters and the general public in society. In 2011, the programme was awarded the Gold Award for Arts Promotion of Hong Kong Arts Development Awards 2011.
