Let's Begin with Our Mission

Artistic creation comes from deep understanding. An ethnic group rich in creativity must have deep understanding and thought of its own culture before it rides on the achievement of its predecessors to put forth new ideas. The Robert H. N. Ho Family Foundation, Chiu Kwong Chiu and Design And Cultural Studies Workshop have joined hands since 2008 to organize a research and publishing project centred on the Forbidden City. Titled "We All Live in the Forbidden City", the programme builds greater awareness of our cultural heritage among the younger generations in China through lively exhibitions, publications and educational activities. It is our hope to cultivate a new generation of depth and creativity.
